The Lighthouse and the Whaler

You are just awesome, I love your music and your style, I hope you come to South-America soon. Why did you choose "The Lighthouse and the Whaler" as the band's name and what does it mean for you?

Hi Juan,

You are very kind! We hope to come to South America soon as well! It would be a dream come true for us. The Lighthouse and the Whaler is a reference to the book Moby Dick. It refers to a pivotal point in in the book when Captain Ahab has a choice to make between seeking refuge on land by the light from a lighthouse or to chase after the much hated Moby Dick. His decision to seek revenge leads to his death. The name to the band reminds us to seek forgiveness rather than revenge. Thanks Juan Pablo for the question we hope to see you in South America some day. :) Blessings
